Addnode Group announces today that the company has acquired Polish Budsoft Sp. z o.o. (Budsoft). Budsoft is a leading Dassault Systèmes partner, providing advanced simulation solutions. The company has seven employees and net sales of SEK 20 million.

Budsoft has been a partner of Dassault Systèmes for more than 15 years and works with the entire SIMULIA software portfolio, but also has an offer that includes advanced training, consulting services and support. Budsoft will become part of Addnode Group's company TECHNIA, and thus be part of its division Product Lifecycle Management.

It is with great joy that we today welcome a new company and new colleagues from a new market to TECHNIA. The acquisition of Budsoft means that we now establish presence in the Polish market and that we at the same time obtain new relationships with e.g. a number of subcontractors to the German car industry. Budsoft’s expertise in advanced simulation will also contribute to strengthening TECHNIA's global Simulation Center of Excellence", says Magnus Falkman, CEO Technia and Division President Product Lifecycle Management, Addnode Group.

Budsoft was founded in 1988 in the university city of Poznan in western Poland. Budsoft specializes in advanced simulation solutions, working with customers in many different industries, such as the automotive industry, space and defense industry, manufacturing, civil engineering, energy and infrastructure. In 1992, the company became a reseller of the simulation software Abaqus, which since 2005 has been part of Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA portfolio.
