Addnode Group has acquired software company InPORT Intelligent PORT Systems AB ("inPort") that develops logistics solutions for ports, terminals and shipping companies. The company is the Nordic region's leading supplier in its market segment and has a net sales of approximately SEK 25 million.

inPort has over 25 years of experience in implementing and integrating advanced logistics solutions to its customers. The company's proprietary software suite PORTIT is used by over 90 percent of the Swedish port companies. In recent years, the company has achieved great success outside Sweden's borders, and today there are Nordic logistics hubs such as Copenhagen and Stavanger on the customer list.

–  Our ports play a societal role in view of its importance for modern sustainable logistics chains and a well-functioning import and export business. With inPort onboard, Addnode Group strengthens its position as a leading provider of software solutions to sustainable cities and communities, says Andreas Wikholm, President for Addnode Group Process Management.

–  We are very pleased to be part of Addnode Group. We are clearly better equipped to serve customers in both the Nordic region and the rest of Europe. In addition, I see strong synergies in areas like GIS and 3D visualization where Addnode Group is market leader, says Tord Svanqvist, CEO of InPort.

Completion will take place on January 2, 2018 and inPort will be part of Addnode Group's Process Management Division.
