As part of our new Meet & Greet series, we met with Marilia Frazillio, CEO of Brazil-based FF Solutions, to learn more about their journey. Addnode Group acquired FF Solutions in July 2025 and the company is now part of our Design Management Division.
In one sentence, tell us about FF Solutions!
Since 1995, FF Solutions has been redefining digital transformation in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), and Manufacturing sectors. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions, strategic consulting, and professional training that drives the adoption of digital processes and sustainable practices. With 30 years of history in Brazil, we have fostered innovation, productivity, and sustainability for over 2,000 clients, through a diverse and specialized team. An important aspect of our business is that we value diversity as a driver of innovation: more than 57% of our team is composed of women, reflecting our commitment to inclusion and sustainable growth.
You’ve recently been named Entrepreneur of the Year, congratulations! How does it feel, and what does the recognition mean to you and your team?
Receiving the Entrepreneur of the Year award from EY, in the Winning Women category, is more than just professional recognition. For me, it is a celebration of a history that began 30 years ago with my mother, Edna Frazillio, a visionary woman who believed in the transformative role of technology when this topic was still distant from the reality of a large part of our sector. This recognition reinforces not only what we have built so far but also the strength of a team that remains driven by solid values and the dreams that began three decades ago. It is a milestone that honors the past and drives the next steps.
Looking beyond the award: what led you to the decision to combine FF Solutions with a larger group?
The decision to unite FF Solutions with a larger group stemmed from our desire to grow sustainably and expand our presence beyond Brazil. We had already built a solid operation in the country, but we had a clear ambition to take our projects, our talent, and our expertise to other markets, initially in Latin America. By choosing to walk with Symetri, we understood that this expansion could go even further. Today, this journey happens on a global scale. It is an enormous joy to see this journey gain new chapters – joining Symetri expands our borders, strengthens our purpose, and places us in an ecosystem that values innovation, collaboration, and real impact.
Why Symetri/Addnode Group? What stood out in terms of culture, strategy, long-term ownership?
When choosing a partner, we always maintained that growth and technology alone would not be enough. The union between FF Solutions and Symetri would only make sense if there was a deep alignment of culture and values. In Symetri, we found a compatible worldview – to unite technology and intentionality to create a smarter and more sustainable future. The cultural alignment was immediate. Symetri values collaboration, responsible innovation, and human development, pillars that also sustained the growth of FF Solutions over three decades.
How have the first months post-transaction been, what has worked best and what has been most challenging?
The first months after the transaction have been very positive for the entire company. It has been a period of discovery, expanding connections, and strengthening our global presence. The opportunities for integration with Symetri’s international teams are already raising the level of our operation and opening paths for advances that were previously out of our reach. The outcome is extremely positive and reinforces our confidence in the path we have chosen to follow.
What new customer value can you deliver now and what are your top priorities for the next year?
For the next year, our main priority is to advance the introduction of Symetri Tech solutions in Brazil and Latin America. This is a strategic focus not only for global Symetri but also for us, because it represents an important step in the evolution of the offerings we bring to the market. In addition to expanding our portfolio with Symetri Tech solutions, which strategically complement our offering in Brazil, we are working on the operationalization of these products so that they reach the market in a structured manner and are ready to generate real impact on projects. By bringing these technologies and integrating them into our ecosystem, we expand the value delivered and strengthen our position in our markets.
