The Process Management Division launching a Digital Mobility Offering to the Public Transport Sector

16 May 2025

Within the Process Management division, a new concept called Commute has been launched. Commute is a new initiative that brings together eight specialized companies under a single, unified, offer, simplifying how these companies present their digital mobility offerings to the public transport sector across Sweden and Norway.

The core reason behind Commute is that the division see a strong potential for increased synergies. With these companies operating in adjacent fields and often serving overlapping customer needs, bringing everyone under one umbrella not only promotes closer collaboration but also unlocks new opportunities for organic growth. By aligning their messaging and simplifying cross-sales, Commute makes it easier for customers to understand the full scope of their offer – a comprehensive, digital ecosystem for public transport.

Companies, Offers and Clients

Commute represents the combined strength of Addnode Group’s subsidiaries Decerno, Forsler Stjerna, Jetas, Railit, Icebound, Netpublicator, Stamford, and Sokigo. Together, they offer everything from route optimization, school bus and special needs transport planning, digital document management, station inventory systems, and train driver tools to real-time updates for traffic control centers. This full-service suite is tailored to the highly complex needs of public transport operators and authorities.

Several blue-chip companies are customers within the combined Commute offering, such as Trafikverket, Bane NOR, VR and Skånetrafiken.

The Offical Launch Event

Commute was officially unveiled at the industry fair Train & Rail 2025, where we introduced our shared digital offering to the market. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Across three days, our teams held productive discussions with key players in the transport ecosystem – from national infrastructure authorities and regional operators to potential collaboration partners in technology and data services. The event proved to be more than just a launch – it was a confirmation that the sector is ready for an integrated, intelligent approach to public transport digitalization.

Moving forward, we believe Commute will serve as a strategic platform that boosts internal synergies and thus increasing organic growth. We also see Commute as a way to expand our solutions abroad and become a public transportation powerhouse in the Nordics.
